This invoice is super basic, but it will serve you for now if you're a new freelancer.

My secret is that I used this invoice for three years as a freelancer. I outgrew it after a year, but carried on with it.

Start yourself off with an invoice like this, then move quickly into accounting software like Quickbooks, Xero, Zeller or similar. You can customise this invoice, add your logo, add a header etc.
